Aircrew Regulations Development Workshop in Bangladesh
9th - 13th of June, 2024

The Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) joined SARI since its inception. Like other member states, they also initiated the process of formulating new PEL regulations based on the EU standards. However, various factors hindered CAAB's ability to sustain momentum in developing and implementing rules across other domains like Flight Operations and Airworthiness.

Through the assistance of the EU-SA APP II (EU-South Asia Aviation Partnership Project II), SARI (South Asia Regional Initiative) has arranged a Rule Development Workshop (RDW) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, focused on Aircrew Rules. This 5-day workshop is scheduled to be held from July 9 to 13, 2024, and its primary objective is to educate officials from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh and professionals within Bangladesh’s aviation sector on Aircrew regulations.
